Long Weekend Loving

HAPPY LONG WEEKEND!
At last check, Sydney is currently a heinous 12 degrees, my street is close to being flooded and visibility must be close to zero.

But i’m not complaining, a 3 day weekend with a sleep-in on Monday!? Yes please.

Here’s how I think you should spend your long weekend …

Lunch at Manly Wines
Manly Beach
PH: (02) 8966 9000
Because let’s face it, you’ll be sleeping while breakfast is being served and to wind is far too cold to indulge in dinner by the beach…
Suprisingly cosy and ever so cute – I promise you’ll love Manly Wines even if you live no where near Manly – it’s worth the drive.
What to order? Double Chocolate Brownie – with ice cream and Persian fairy floss or ‘Damn Good Burger’ – because, well…Yep, it is damn good.

Manis & Pedis
If this weather has you feeling a little dull, super shiny nails are sure to give you an instant pick-me-up. Opt for Shellac.
Visit either The Nail Lab in Darlinghurst or Ruby Room in Chatswood.
The Nail Lab: (02), 9380 8008, http://www.thenaillab.com.au/
P.S Not to worry if you don’t make it down to TNL this weekend; they’re open til 8PM every single week day!
Ruby Room: (02) 9884 7533, http://www.rubyroombeauty.com.au/

Hair Pamper Time
Similar reasoning to indulging in a mani/pedi… Use this weekend to have a super long treatment – think Keratin treatments.
Visit Joh Bailey Double Bay: http://www.johbailey.com.au/

A little Ecoya love
If you can’t face the rain, a lovely, scented candle is sure to make your home a little more luxurious.
My favourite at the moment is the Ecoya Botanical Boxed Jar in Palm Leaf and Tiare Flower.
This precious little jar is suprisingly refreshing, clean and fruity – with a base note of Vanilla… Perfect for when you’re snuggled up inside.
$39.95, http://www.ecoya.com.au/

Have a lovely long weekend!
